Private or Instrument Finish Up Programs - American Flyers Flight Training
"VIP Program..."
TRAIN FOR YOUR PRIVATE AND INSTRUMENT SIMULTANEOUSLY...
Almost 80% of our Private Pilot graduates come back to American Flyers for their Instrument Rating. They recognize the safety and the added aircraft utilization that being IFR qualified affords them.
What if you could train simultaneously for your Private License and Instrument Rating? Could you save money, have better scheduling flexibility, increase your comprehension and flying skills? Yes you can!
SAVE THOUSANDS OF TRAINING DOLLARS…
This course integrates training for the Private License and Instrument Rating into a seamless educational program. FAA regulations require that you log 50 hours PIC cross country time and 40 hours of instrument instruction to obtain your rating under part 61. However, by graduating from an FAA 141 approved school you only need 35 hours of instrument training and that's it! There is no PIC cross-country requirement, that's a significant savings! By combining the two you can save several thousand dollars while becoming a more capable and skillful pilot.

One the most important benefits you’ll discover is the ability to train in almost any weather. For example, when training for your Private and weather conditions prohibit VFR flying the day you've scheduled your lesson, you'll still be able to receive instruction in the IFR phase of training. American Flyers instructors file and fly in actual IMC.
